About Nuvara

Physicians
Telehealth visits and prescribing decisions are made by independent, U.S.-licensed physicians in our partner medical network, coordinated through GEN Health. Each physician is licensed in the state where you are located at the time of your visit. Your physician's name and license are shown in your patient portal and on your prescription.
Pharmacies
Prescriptions are filled by state-licensed U.S. pharmacies. Compounded medications are prepared by state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies for an individual patient.

Compounded medications
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. FDA does not verify their safety, effectiveness or quality. They are prepared for an individual patient on a valid prescription.
Off-label prescribing
Some medications are FDA-approved for other uses. Your physician may prescribe them off-label when appropriate. We make no claims about off-label uses.
Controlled substances
Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance. It is prescribed only after a live telehealth visit, in line with DEA and state telehealth rules, and is not available in every state.
Prescription required
Every product requires a prescription. Placing an order is a request for evaluation, not a guarantee of treatment. Your card is held and charged only if a physician approves. Individual results vary.
